Why Me?

A Skilled Wordsmith Who Can Tell Your Story

More Than a Writer – An Enthusiastic Partner

Before I start working on any new writing project, I take the time to learn all about your business, your market, your products or services, your customers, and your competition. This allows me to craft compelling copy that is laser-targeted to get the results you are looking for.

Due to the extra time I take in learning your business and your market, you are really getting much more than a writer when you hire me for any writing project. You are getting an enthusiastic partner who works hard to position your business for success.

I Can Tell Your Story

The written word is a powerful thing. Words sell. By using the psychology of persuasion, well-written words have the power to increase demand for your products or services, resulting in a substantial increase to your bottom line. But that doesn’t mean that poorly written words are benign. They have a lot of power, too. They have the power to drive business away.

What you need then is a natural storyteller who can present your business in the best light to distinguish it from the competition. I have the ability to tell your story in a way that holds readers’ attention, presents your products or services as the most logical solution to their problems or needs, and instills a positive impression of your company.

I Put Myself in Readers’ Shoes

Creating engaging content involves so much more than just writing about the features of a product or service and calling it a day. In order to create content that influences, I ask myself the questions that I know readers are asking. Questions like:

“So what?”

“Why does this matter?”

“How does this benefit me?”

With this information, I can craft a message that explains how your product or service improves readers’ lives, solves a problem they may be having, or makes their lives more enjoyable.

I Have the Background

With more than 20 years of combined industry experience working in the healthcare sector, for a large non-profit organization, and for a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, I have a diverse range of experiences to draw from. And with an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA, I am fluent in the language of business. This means I am able to write from the perspective of someone who has worked in the trenches of the business world. It also means I will have additional perspectives and insights on various business issues that other writers may not have.
